Equipment Cost: around $2000.00 +/-
12 Weeks: Monday – Friday; Practical Work consists of 420 hours and Lecture Work consists of 60 hours.

This comprehensive course is designed for the person that wants to become a dog groomer. This program is designed for those students with no prior experience or training, intending to pursue a career as a professional pet groomer. This 12 week course provides you with the education and practical skills to step out into the field of professional pet grooming or to open and successfully run your own business with complete confidence. You will learn everything from the most rudimentary aspects of bathing and brushing to how to finish the standard cuts on most AKC breeds as well as providing appealing custom cuts and handling challenges you might face on a day to day business. You are hands on from day one. You must complete 448 minimum hours and have a grade point average of 80 to receive a Certificate of Completion. 


This Includes Membership for 1 year to International Professional Groomers, Inc, the IPG Guildlines and Testing for Salon Details when you complete the course.

Also 1 year Membership with Professional Cat Groomers Association of America, which includes Manual, Study Guides, and 3 days of classes on Cat Grooming.
